This a must-have for any Marvel Comics fan! For those of us old enough to remember the joy of reading the old Official Marvel Index books by George Olshevsky and marveling (no pun intended) how he endeavored to place the various issues in a real-world calendar setting, using clues such as: Peter Parker's graduation and seasonal references like "bare trees", etc, this book WILL NOT disappoint. This book covers Fantastic Four #1 - #63, Amazing Fantasy #15/Amazing Spider-Man #1 - 50, Uncanny X-Men #1 - #30, Daredevil #1 - #28, Journey into Mystery #83 - Thor #141, Avengers #1 - #37, Iron Man's adventures in Tales of Suspense #39 - #83, as well as every other issue during that time period in a cohesive, chronological order using a calendar system consisting of "Year 1" and moving forward to the end of "Year 4", as well as breaking each, individual month into "early, mid, and late." If that wasn't enough, each issue covered has a comprehensive plot synopsis.
Mr. Deischer and Mr. Ward have certainly picked up Mr. Olshevsky's torch and have sucessfully run with it. For us over-40 fans, this book (and, hopefully the future volumes!!!) is sure to remind us of why we became Marvel-ites in the first place. And for the younger reader, this book is an excellent way to read the beginning adventures of some of the most beloved comic book characters ever created.

The Marvel Timeline Project Part 1 eBook Jeff Deischer Murray Ward Reviews
An interesting premise, though it was really done better in the hardcover comics chronologies published a few years ago. This would be a nice adjunct to any comic historian's collection if it was formatted properly for e-book reading. This might make a good paperback, but it's hard to read in this format.
